Making a video call from a Published app can be tricky. When the call is initiated in the Remote Published app, the user’s microphone and camera will send the user’s voice and image to the virtual desktop. Horizon sends that data compressed, using our real-time audio-video (RTAV) feature & Users can run Microsoft Teams in their remote sessions without any issue.
To Publish the app you can follow the below steps & captured the Required Settings using the VMware Dynamic Environment Manager to roam the settings across the sessions.
Login to RDSH Parent Template
Download the Teams MSI package that matches your VDI VM operating system using one of the following links:
Open Command prompt with Elevated Privilage, type change user /install, and then press ENTER. The message appears: User session is ready to install applications. ( To Start the app installation )
Use the Per-machine installation using the below parameter
msiexec /i <path_to_msi> /l*v <install_logfile_name> ALLUSER=1 ALLUSERS=1
At the command prompt, type change user /execute, and then press ENTER. The message appears:User session is ready to execute applications.
